CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO)- A career criminal back behind bars.
Cleveland cops arrested Mario Palmer for aggravated robbery and felonious assault on Monday.
Officers received a call to respond to the 2700 block of W. 25th Street for a victim of a robbery. Once on scene, officers were advised by the victim that she had been robbed at gunpoint and assaulted.
Fast-acting officers toured the area and found Palmer in the area of W. 10th & Starkweather, where several vehicles had been broken into.
Upon seeing the officers Palmer immediately raised his hands, surrendered his weapon and admitted to the robbery.
He was positively identified by the victim and placed under arrest. Palmer, a career criminal, stated that he wanted to go back to jail.
